Cornerstone Records Management Announces the Acquisition of All Star Shredding

Columbia, MD — January 12, 2011 — Cornerstone Records Management, LLC announced today that it has completed the acquisition of the assets of All Star Shredding. Based in New Castle, DE, All Star Shredding provides plant based and mobile shredding services for a variety of customers in the greater Philadelphia market, throughout Delaware and in Northern Maryland.

“All Star represents an excellent fit with our existing Mid-Atlantic based secured document destruction business,” said Steven Sisney, President and CEO of Cornerstone. “The combination of All Star with our existing business will result in improved service for our customers, increased route densities for our trucks, lower operating costs for our fleet, and greater productivity at our shred plant.”

“Besides expanding our existing presence in the Philadelphia and Delaware markets, All Star will support our penetration of the Baltimore market”, explained Sisney. “All Star provides us with the resources to offer the customers of our recent acquisition of Baltimore based Guardian Document Storage a complete range of shredding services.” All Star will become part of Cornerstone’s Eastern Division which is based in King of Prussia, PA.

The acquisition of All Star Shredding represents the eleventh acquisition completed by Cornerstone since June 2008, and reflects Cornerstone’s philosophy of growing both organically and through acquisition.

Cornerstone is continuing to focus on rapidly growing its business in the Southern California, Denver, Northeast and Mid-Atlantic markets.
